Nostalgic Fiskars steals yout heart. After your first glance at Fiskars, you might find it hard to believe you are in 21st-century Finland. Though time seems to have delightfully stopped, Fiskars is anything but a stagnant community. Today, the old ironworks is a romantic and bohemian stronghold of Finnish art and handicrafts. As far as is known, Fiskars Wärdshus is Finland's oldest continuously operating inn. Built in 1836, it served as the inn and store of the ironworks. Today, the inn has 17 excellent, well-equipped rooms. Next to the old and venerable inn, a new building was built in 2003 - the first new structure in the center of Fiskars for a hundred years. The new hotel follows the classical style of the ironworks area, blending effortlessly into the distinguished surroundings. All furniture is handmade by a Fiskars carpentry shop using local elm.
Restaurants The hotel restaurant has retained its evocative charm. Excellent food, a bright and pleasant dining room, friendly service, and inviting ambience lead you to a fantastic dining experience. The kitchen has won many awards and received many honors, and its cuisine will make even the most demanding gastronome sigh with pleasure. Our beautiful dining room is also available for special occasions.
Other services The new building has a sauna for small groups. The adjoining conference room seats 50 persons and the banquet hall seats 300 persons.
