The village in the woods is a great place to start your adventure.
Storfinnhova Gård
The legendary Storfinnhova. The written history of the estate goes back to 1540, but the legend dates even further back to a giant called Finn who held court on the rocks of Finnhova. Today Storfinnhova is a versatile center for special occasions, conferences, and training sessions. The hotel offers three fully-restored accommodation buildings, a banquet and conference hall in the loft of a former cow barn, a sauna, and Fina's cabin built in the mid-1800s. The unspoiled nearby woods conceal a small village of six treehouses up in old pines. The heart of this village is a large underground smoke sauna made of granite. The Forest Court dining hall is a cozy place for passing the evening.
Restaurants The loft in the old cow barn is a great place for special occasions and business receptions. The 14-meter buffet table is a sumptuous sight when laid out for dinner. The loft seats 150 guests, or 100 for added comfort. The Forest Court dining hall serves rustic country fare and accommodates 40 people. The outdoor patio seats 50 people.
Other services The estate is surrounded by a 2-hectare parkland. Two large tents can be erected anywhere on the premises or elsewhere in the archipelago. Tent accommodation can be combined with survival training.
