The Svartå Manor - feel the atmosphere of the old ironworks area. The Svartå Manor is a hotel and tourist destination in a picturesque ironworks area. The charming, intimate hotel rooms are situated in the so-called White Annex, built in 1840, and in the workers' quarters dating back to the early 18th century. The Manor's grandest suite, Merlin's Tower, was built in an old transformer tower by the river. The buildings are surrounded by 20 acres of lush parkland famous for their beauty: the sculptures, fountains, gazebos, and flowers of the park give your thoughts respite from the everyday hustle and bustle.
Restaurants The coach house, built in 1859, now houses the 65-seat Manor Tavern Restaurant, which has been awarded the Chaine des Rôtisseurs plaque. On the summer patio you can enjoy the wonderful Finnish summer and, of course, delectable food and drinks.
Other services The main building of the Manor houses a museum with guided tours. The main annual event is the Svartå Manor International Antiques Fair in early July. There are three saunas on the Manor grounds. The Orangerie saunas are connected to a winter garden. All the saunas have access to the Mustio River for swimming. A variety of programs is available for groups from 18th century theme parties to canoe trips and ATV safaris.
