Rustic and Romantic Ruusuhovi. The charming Ruusuhovi Manor is situated on the former premises of the Rauanranta cavalry estate, which was owned by the aristocratic Harlin family in the early 1700s. In the late 1880s, the estate was turned into a alms house, but was destroyed by a fire and replaced by the current Ruusuhovi Manor building. The Manor was remodeled in 1985. The nearby apartments accommodate up to five persons in a more rustic setting. Ruusuhovi is famous for its catering services and banquet facilities.
Restaurants The Manor restaurant has 100 seats and a lobby bar. The nearby Osmon Pirtti restaurant serves hearty, rustic fare and has 80 seats. Room service is available.
Other services The gym is available to guests. By the lake there is a smoke sauna and a larger sauna with a fireplace lounge for entertaining. A 9-hole golf course surrounds the Manor. Other activities from church boat rowing to snowmobile safaris available by reservation in winter and summer. The Savonlinna Opera Festival takes place only a 40-minute drive away.
