A cozy hotel amid native Sami culture and the wilderness of Lapland. Located by the scenic Juutua River rapids, the site has had a hotel since 1937. The current hotel was built in 1956 and fully renovated in 2004. Sami culture dominates both the heritage and present-day of the Inari village: it is visible in everyday life here and highlighted during festivals and events. Restaurants The restaurant focuses on pure local ingredients such as fresh fish from Inari Lake, wild mushrooms, berries, herbs, and reindeer. Awarded "Food from Finland" status in spring 2005, the ā la carte restaurant has 86 seats, and the Kultaränni lobby bar has 30 seats. Summer restaurant Koskikrouvi with 60 seats is open by reservation.
Other services You can enjoy a traditional sauna and a swim in the Juutua River. Our hotel is on the Juutua Tales nature trail. In winter you can rent skiing equipment and snowshoes. Siida Sami Museum is 500 meters from the hotel. Other activities available include snowmobile and husky safaris, reindeer farm visits, whitewater rafting and fishing trips on the Juutua River, cruises and fishing trips on Lake Inari.
