The SnowCastle is the arctic pearl of Lapland. Located by the northern shore of the Gulf of Bothnia, the Kemi SnowCastle is a magnificent example of snow architecture. The Mammut SnowHotel can accommodate individual guests or larger groups. The temperature in the rooms is approximately -5°C (23°F), and the totally fresh air ensures a good night's sleep in a comfortable sleeping bag. The rooms are decorated with textiles designed and made by students from the University of Lapland Faculty of Arts. The hotel is decorated with snow and ice sculptures enhanced with light and sound effects. The hotel is open from New Year to April.
Restaurants Have a seat on pleasant reindeer skin at the ice tables and admire the delightful ice sculptures decorating the SnowRestaurant. Food from the Arctic forest and sea and pure Lapland ingredients leave no one cold. There is also a terrace that bathes in the bright spring sun. We request that you make all dinner reservations in advance.
Other services A generous breakfast and a sauna are available to guests. In the evenings you can sit by the fire and grill sausages. The fire is kept burning all night.
