1. Gustus & Vera Probably the only true wine bar in town. Good wines are available by glass. The young staff's enthusiasm overcomes the occasional slowness of service.

2. Strindberg Bar Casual 2nd-floor lounge for a glass of wine while shopping or on a date. A safe selection of wines. Not really a wine bar, but a place where I often find myself.

3. Hullu Kukko Nostalgic place though I don't go there that much. I used to work here for years and had an influence on the long wine list. There still are many interesting wines for reasonable prices.

4. Carelia Number one in terms of price - a great wine list that shows faith in the power of wine. A nice place to stop by for a glass, but I'd recommend having a bottle with a main course.

5. Est. 1887 Sat Kämp patio. See and be seen! Interesting wines by the glass and after a couple of well-put questions you might get them to open some more nice bottles.
