1. The small Leikosaari island off eastern Helsinki. The island is accessible by boat and you can reserve a sauna for an evening.
2. Aavasaksa Yli-Tornio, Lapland. The Midnight Sun in summer creates a magic feeling. I've spent summers here since I was a little girl.

3. Yyteri in Pori. The prettiest sandy beaches in Finland have become a bit touristic, but you can still find small fishing huts to spend some time.
4. Halti Kilpisjärvi, Lapland. In winter this is the only place where you can hike on open mountain fells all the way. I recommend the route from downtown Kilpisjärvi to Halti, the highest peak in Finland, and back - a 100 km hike.

5. Hitchhiking through Finland in summer. Hot asphalt, golden fields, and a safe ride. It's easy to find helpful drivers in Finland.
